Privacy Policy

LSATScoreConverter.com runs the LSAT Score Converter and the other free LSAT tools and guides on this site. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean LSATScoreConverter.com, and "you" means anyone who visits the site.

For any privacy question or request, email hello@lsatscoreconverter.com. We do not have accounts, sign-up, forms or comments, so email is the only way you can send us information directly.

What you type into the tools. The converter and the calculator run entirely in your browser. The scores you enter are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we do not store them.

Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and whatever you choose to write.

Analytics, only if you accept. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. It runs only after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or never answer, nothing from Google loads. If you accept, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, the page that sent you here, your device, browser and operating system type, and your approximate location. It links these visits using a random ID stored in a cookie, not your name or email address. Google states that in Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are not logged or stored.

We switch off Google signals and ad personalization in our analytics settings. Under Google's documentation for these settings, our analytics events are therefore not used for ads personalization or for demographics and interests reports. We have not linked Google Analytics to any advertising account.

Technical request data. Like every website, the site cannot reach your browser without your IP address and basic request details such as the page requested and your browser type. Cloudflare, which provides our DNS and security, and our hosting provider process this data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under their own terms.

Our fonts and images are hosted on our own domain. Unless you accept analytics, the site makes no requests to other companies' servers.

We use the limited information above to:

• reply to your email and deal with what you asked, such as a correction or a privacy request;
• understand which pages are useful and fix the ones that are not, using analytics you agreed to;
• deliver the site and keep it secure;
• meet a legal obligation, if one applies.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

We set no cookies before you make a choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<container-id>. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set.

We remember your choice in one entry in your browser's local storage, named lsc.cookie-consent.v1. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to us. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the site footer. That removes the Google Analytics cookies, stops analytics and shows the banner again.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:

• Consent for Google Analytics and its cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time with Cookie settings. Withdrawing does not affect analytics collected before you withdrew.
• Legitimate interests for delivering the site and protecting it from abuse, and for reading and answering emails you send us.
• Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law.

We share information only with the providers that make the site work:

• Google, which provides Google Analytics, and only if you accept analytics.
• Cloudflare and our hosting provider, which process technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
• Our email service, which delivers and stores the emails you send us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is needed to protect the site, its visitors or others from fraud or abuse. We do not share information with anyone else.

Google, Cloudflare and our other providers may process information in the United States and in other countries outside the one you live in. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as yours. Each provider describes the safeguards it uses for these transfers in its own privacy information.

Emails. We keep your email only as long as we need to reply and to deal with your request, and then delete it.

Analytics. Google Analytics deletes user-level and event-level data automatically at the end of the data retention period we set, which is 2 months. Age, gender and interest data is always deleted after 2 months. Aggregated reports, such as page views per day, are not affected by this deletion.

Your cookie choice. The local storage entry stays in your browser until you change your choice or clear your browser storage.

Technical request data. Cloudflare and our hosting provider keep this data under their own terms.

EU and UK. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

US states. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law that applies to us, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it and to delete it. You may also have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information, its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and its use for targeted advertising. We do none of these things (see We do not sell or share your personal information). We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

How to use your rights. Email hello@lsatscoreconverter.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask for details to confirm the request is yours, and we will answer within the time the applicable law allows.

Analytics data is tied to a random ID in a cookie, not to your name or email address, so we usually cannot find it from an email request. The quickest way to stop analytics and remove its cookies is the Cookie settings button in the footer.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. The site has no ads and no affiliate links.

This site is for people preparing for the LSAT, who are generally adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

The best protection is holding little data. We have no accounts, passwords, forms or visitor database, and the tools never send your scores anywhere. Cloudflare helps protect the site from attacks. No website or email service is completely secure, so please do not email us sensitive information we have not asked for.

Our pages link to other sites, such as the official sources behind our LSAT figures. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change means analytics would collect something new, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
